And the world spins madly on. Back from the best vacation ever.

I'm back from my week and a half jaunt on the south island. It was incredible to say the very least. I hope to have blog updates for each day/activity as soon as possible, but for now I am stuck going through 1,400 pictures that I took, deleting the ones I don't like, and trying to figure out which I'll post on here. In other news, I have an essay due this Monday for my New Zealand Politics class. I'm thinking of doing it on New Zealand's identity, maybe its green 'image', its bicultural-egalitarian society, or its anti-nuclear policy. We'll see what unfolds I guess. In the next week or so I'll also be trying to fill in the gaps of my exam schedule, all finances permitting. Classes end on June 6th, my first exam isn't until the 11th, and I am done with exams five days early. Hopefully I'll end up somewhere interesting during those times, but at this point, Fiji looks like its out of the question. It was just taken over by a military dictatorship who has suspended the constitution, censored newspapers and press, and allowed for any member of the military to shoot any civilian without retribution. Not so nice. Australia is looking more and more do-able.
Anyways, like I said, hold tight, updates from the trip coming soon.
